A Little Bit About Us

Edie and Zoe are an indie duo band from West Georgia consisting of sisters, Eden and Zoe Giese. Edie and Zoe believe that music is a conversation between the artist and the listener. This conversation is always growing and changing, with both parties required to bring their perspectives, dreams, and life experience to the mix. Their main goal is to use their music to encourage listeners to stick it out through the rough times and to find joy even in the hardest moments in life.

Musical Influences and Style

Edie and Zoe draw inspiration from an expansive variety of genres including alternative rock, folk, Americana, indie-pop, classic rock, rap, contemporary Christian, and more. Edie and Zoe predominantly feature an indie-pop/folk sound with influences from Ingrid Michaelson and Joni Mitchell. Lyrically, Edie and Zoe embody an introspective approach, utilizing metaphor and storytelling to tackle the big questions of life–namely why we’re here and how to make the most of it. Edie and Zoe cites Noah Kahan and Twenty One Pilots as their greatest lyrical influences.
